Silverfish, Fleas
Silverfish and fleas are two other common household pests. Both cause nasty problems and rapidly multiply making it a priority to rid your home of these pests quickly.
Fleas: If you have pets and they go outside you can bet they will bring fleas back in with them. If enough fleas reside in the home they can be a real nasty pest. Bucks has

Silverfish: These pest like to reside 
in warm humid areas like attics, bathrooms, etc. They love to eat book bindings and glue in cardboard. Silverfish can be handled with baits and or insecticides depending on the location.

Cockroaches are one of the oldest insect groups. This means they have adapted to changing environments for thousands of years. They can go weeks without food or water.
Cockroaches love warm dark moist areas, making kitchens and bathrooms prime locations for cockroaches to live. But, they can be found throughout the home.
Once you have an infestation of cockroaches, you will need a professional to come into your home and treat. There are also many thing you can do to help insure you do not have cockroach problems or if you did to insure they don't come back.
Do not allow dirty dishes to accumulate overnight in the sink.
Keep food scraps in containers with tight-fitting lids.
Keep the pet food in tightly sealed containers, and remove food from bowls after the pet has finished his/her meal.
Take the garbage out of the home daily. Keep outside trash cans covered, especially at night.
Clean the evaporation pan under the refrigerator or freezer often.
Two extreme high risk spots are the area between the stove and cabinet, and the exhaust hood, where grease and food scraps often accumulate. Pull the stove out often and clean thoroughly.
